| In years past our fishing trips have been slowed down by low BTU camp stove taking a long time to boil water---NOT THIS YEAR! The stove was easy to set up and operate, and is compact enough to fit into my Jeep Wrangler. The quality is very good. Amazon's service, as usual, was super! |

| Looked all over and Amazon had the best price. This stove is well made and easy to use. Quick and hassle free set up. The only drawback is its short so you bend over when cooking on it(but I knew that when I bought it from the description). |
Good value, powerful burners, low budget construction

When I first unpacked this stove I was a little disappointed in its build quality. This is a heavy unit compared to most smaller propane camping stoves, but most of that weight is in the cast iron burners.
The lid, wind guards, and interior liner are low grade stamped steel and pot metal. The corner joints are cut and folded sheet metal without any welds, and the rivets, screws, nuts, and latches are all low quality junk. The legs and main body, however, are of a thicker grade steel than the lid so the stove is sturdy when assembled.
The burners put out a lot of heat and that is what makes this stove shine. Combined with a larger cooking surface, this allows one to prepare real meals for a family -- a task that is a challenge on a smaller stove.
The bottom line is that this stove is a good value for the money. It is perfect for car camping with a family -- compact enough to stow in the trunk, yet powerful enough to prepare any kind of stove top meal. |
